  • In a video clip posted online, one of the assailants said they had beheaded the man and also threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

  • Kanhaiyalal had put up a social media post in favour of Nupur Sharma about 10 days back. Since then, people from a particular community were threatening to kill him. He had also filed a police complaint in this matter.

  • The accused, identified as Gaus Mohammed and Riyaz, residents of Surajpole, have been arrested. Police said the duo was trying to flee on a motorcycle and were wearing helmets to cover their faces, PTI reported.
