'Try And Get An Article Published In NYT': AAP Responds To BJP's 'Paid News' Allegations

AAP MP Raghav Chadha took a jibe at BJP and said that it is the richest political party, they should appear on New York Times' front page daily if someone can buy them. 

Hitting back at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for accusing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of getting "paid news" published in foreign newspaper, party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj challenged the saffron party to get published in New York Times (NYT) if they think it is possible. Speaking to reporters during a press conference, Bhardwaj said, "I challenge them (the BJP), use whatever money you have... whatever power you have. You try and get an article published in The New York Times if you think that is possible," the AAP leader said.

  

BJP launched a scathing attack on AAP-led Delhi government shortly after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hailed Manish Sisodia as one of the best education ministers and shared an article lauding Delhi education model on the front page of the New York Times.

"Which is the richest political party in India? The donation they (BJP) get is the maximum among political parties. Why couldn't you get paid news published? There was an NYTimes report on Modi. Don't want to go back on that," Saurabh Bhardwaj said further.

Even AAP MP Raghav Chadha took a jibe at BJP and said that it is the richest political party, they should appear on New York Times' front page daily if someone can buy them. 

"No news of any BJP leader was ever printed there. BJP calls itself the biggest party in the world. It's the richest political party. They should appear on New York Times' front page daily if someone can buy them," he said.

Several BJP leaders including Kapil Mishra, Former Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari, Amit Malviya and others raised questions how the same article with the same photo by the same author can be published in two different papers.

"Again it has been exposed, same word and same author in New York Times and Khaleej Times. AAP is misusing Delhi people's money to get the photo published by paying money," Tiwari tweeted in Hindi.

BJP leader Kapil Mishra alleged that Kejriwal and Sisodia both are selling lies in India and abroad both. "By paying money, they got the news published but the habit of lying has not gone yet. This is not the photo of any Delhi government school but these students are from Mother Marry School of Mayur Vihar. Kejriwal and Sisodia are selling lies in India and abroad both," Mishra said in a tweet.
