Aam Aadmi Party's Manish Sisodia on Saturday reacted to the allegations of violating laws levied by the Bharatiya Janata Party on jailed Delhi minister Satyendar Jain and said that he had two operations for his spine injury and the doctor has prescribed him regular physiotherapy.
"Satyendar Jain has had two operations for his spine-injury. The doctor has prescribed him regular physiotherapy. After Covid, there is a patch in his lungs which is not cured yet," Sisodia said in a tweet. The very idea of making fun of a person's illness and the treatment being given to him is disgusting, he added. This comes after the BJP attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over CCTV videos that showed jailed minister Satyendar Jain receiving massage inside his jail cell.
Earlier, a CCTV video of Satyendar Jain apparently getting a massage inside a Tihar jail cell went viral on the internet. Last month, the Enforcement Directorate had stated footage of Satyendar Jain, alleging that he was living a luxurious life at the jail, to a Delhi court.
The BJP on Saturday lashed out at Arvind Kejriwal over CCTV videos that showed jailed minister Satyendar Jain receiving massage inside his jail cell in the Delhi government-run Tihar Jail. "The 'kattar beimaan' (absolute dishonest) thug is taking a massage in jail by violating laws. He's been jailed for 5 months now but has still not been sacked as a minister. The video shows VVIP culture. We're asking you questions after seeing the video, Arvind Kejriwal where are you hiding?" BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia remarked, as quoted by news agency ANI.
The video dated September 13 was recorded by a CCTV camera a little past 1 pm. The stamp on the footage reads 'W-5 Cell-1 A Block'. A man is seen giving him a foot massage with oil while Jain went through some papers.
