New Delhi: Hours after a Tik-Tok video of a young woman dancing in a bus of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) became viral, the driver of the bus, the conductor and the bus marshal have landed in trouble. The DTC has taken an action against all three and has suspended the bus driver Veerpal. Whereas, the bus conductor Gagandeep, who works on the contract, has been issued a show cause notice; whereas the Marshal has been sent to the Civil Defence Office.

The action comes after the woman can be seen dancing with driver, conductor and martial inside the DTC bus. They can be seen dancing on a Sapna Chaudhary song. After the video was shot, it was uploaded to the Tik Tok app. According to sources, this video was shot on July 12 in Janakpuri area of ​​Delhi. Sources say that the use of government bus in this manner is against the rules.

This is not the first time that Tik Tok app has been a part of controversies. The app is famous all over the world and its craze is ever rising in India. People create and upload different types of videos.



The app was recently criticized by the economic wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) who had called for a ban on the Chinese social media application, citing  “protecting India’s national security and startup ecosystem” as a reason.
