As CBI carried out searches at 25 locations in connection with the land-for-jobs case in Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday said wherever BJP was not in power, it sends its three "jamai" (sons-in-law) -- ED, CBI and IT to target the Opposition.
Speaking in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi said, "When BJP fears or loses in the state, it puts ahead its three 'jamai' -- CBI, ED and IT. When I go to foreign countries, BJP issues lookout notices against me and when fraudsters like Nirav Modi run away, they don't do anything."
The CBI also conducted searches at an under-construction mall in Gurugram that is allegedly being built by a firm owned by Tejashwi Yadav, PTI reported. The under-construction Urban Cubes mall in Sector 71 of Gurugram is being constructed by a company, Whiteland, in which Yadav's family has a stake in ownership.
"Gurugram mall raided by CBI not mine, it was inaugurated by BJP MP," the Deputy CM said.

He also said that the RJD-JD(U) pair would have a never-ending partnership. "This is going to be the longest innings, this partnership will be working for the development of Bihar and the country. No one is getting run out this time," ANI quoted Tejashwi as saying.
The searches came on a day when the Nitish-Kumar led Grand Alliance government won the trust vote in the Bihar Assembly even as the Opposition BJP legislators staged a walkout.
Raids were carried out at the premises of several senior leaders of the RJD, including MLC Sunil Singh and Rajya Sabha MPs Ashfaque Karim and Faiyaz Ahmad and former MLC Subodh Rai.
Grand Alliance legislators alleged that the BJP was exerting power after Nitish Kumar walked out of NDA alliance. The BJP said that CBI had strong evidence against the RJD leaders based on which the raids were carried out, reported ABP News.
Sunil Singh, known to be close to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, told PTI, "This is 100 per cent intentional. These people have entered my house without even informing the local police. They are asking me to sign a document".
The case dates back to Lalu Prasad Yadav's tenure as Union Railway minister in the UPA-I government.
The land-for-jobs case was registered on May 18 against Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi, and daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, in addition to 12 people who were given jobs in Railway zones of Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Jaipur, Hajipur in 2008-09.
