New Delhi: Actor Swara Bhasker tied the knot with a political personality and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Fahad Ahmad, the actor announced on Thursday. The couple dropped the announcement of their wedding, that took place on January 6, through a social media post on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, Swara Bhasker shared a beautiful video of that offers glimpse of how they had met and captioned it, “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours.”
In the video, Swara has documented how Fahad and she met at a protest 'obviously' and how their romance turned into a marriage.
Fahad also reshared the video on his official Twitter handle with the caption, "I never knew chaos can be so beautiful. Thank you for holding my hand love.”
Fahad Ahmad is a worker of Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party. At present, he is the state president of Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, a Youth Wing of the Samajwadi Party in Maharashtra. Fahad had joined Samajwadi Party on August 1, 2022.
The Mumbai-based political leader graduated from Aligarh Muslim University and attained his M.Phil degree in social work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai.
In TISS, he was elected the General Secretary of the TISS Student's Union in the year 2017 and 2018.
Fahad Ahmad is four years junior to Swara Bhasker going by their date of birth.
Notably, Fahad Ahmad was a prominent face in the anti-CAA protests across the country. Fahad was denied PhD registration by TISS allegedly because of his participation in a 100-day strike against the institute's decision to withdraw financial aid to the SC/ST students.
