I will not be able to do anything in the Lok Sabha elections. I have told everything to the PM. Always grateful and always dedicated to the country, Bihar and the party," he posted the latest update on X.
The 72-year-old Rajya Sabha MP from Bihar is an important leader of the BJP. He is one of the few leaders in India who have been to both the Houses of Parliament as well as the legislative council and legislative assembly.
Sushil Modi Targets I.N.D.I.A Bloc
Sushil Kumar Modi last week ridiculed the I.N.D.I.A for not being able to put up common candidates for even 50 seats. The BJP leader said even if the Opposition manages to declare joint candidates on some seats, it will not be able to compete with the NDA led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Without talking to the Congress and the NCP [Pawar faction] in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray decided on 17 candidates. Similarly, in Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav distributed half a dozen tickets, sidelining Congress and Left parties," he said. He exuded confidence that the NDA would win 400 seats.
