Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's health has been deteriorating ever since he was sent to Tihar jail on Monday in the money laundering case linked to the excise policy case, claimed Atishi on Wednesday.

The Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader claimed that Kejriwal, who is "severe diabetic", has lost 4-5 kilograms of weight since his arrest. She said that god will not forgive the Bharatiya Janata Party, who has put him in jail, if something happens to Kejriwal.

In a social media post on X, Atishi said: "Arvind Kejriwal is a severe diabetic. Despite health problems, he used to work 24 hours a day to serve the country. Since his arrest, Arvind Kejriwal has lost 4.5 kg of weight. This is very worrying. Today, the BJP is putting his health at risk by putting him in jail. If something happens to Arvind Kejriwal, even God will not forgive him, let alone the entire country."

Kejriwal had a restless first night in the jail while his sugar level was also below 50 when he was brought to the jail, on Monday, and was given medicines on the advise of Tihar jail doctors, according to a PTI report.
