New Delhi: Maharashtra minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik alleged that there are efforts to implicate him in a false case like former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and said that he would complain to Mumbai Police Commissioner and Union Home Minister Amit Shah asking for an investigation in the matter.

The statement comes a day after the NCP leader shared a photo of two people on his Twitter handle. He said that for the last two months, people have been telling him that some people are gathering details of his home and family. Writing a post, he informed that these people in the vehicle have been doing a recce on him for the past few days. He has posted several photos with facebook posts, in which a person is visible. He also put the number plate of the car in this photo.

Nawab Malik said, "These people in this vehicle have been doing recce of my house and school for the past few days. Let me know if anyone recognizes them. Last week, some people were caught near the school while taking a photo. I want to tell those in this picture that if you want any information about me, come and meet me, I will give you all the information.''

The minister has been attacking the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) over the latter's dealing with the high profile cruise party raid. He alleged that NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhade, though born a Muslim, got a government job claiming to belong to the SC category.
