New Delhi: A day after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead, the special cell of Delhi police Monday began questioning gangster Lawrence Bishnoi at Tihar jail in connection with the case, reported news agency ANI, citing sources. Some other jailed gangsters are also being interrogated by the police.
After Canada-based Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose wala, the Delhi police special cell is also probing the role of others linked to Bishnoi and Brar.
Lawrence Bishnoi who is lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail is accused in the MCOCA case pending before the Special Judge of Patiala House court.
Goldy Brar in a Faceboook post Sunday evening claimed responsibility for Moose Wala's murder. He is a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is also said to be the man behind the murder of the popular Punjabi singer.

Meanwhile, Sidhu Moose Wala’s last rites will be held today at his native village in Punjab. After the post-mortem, his mortal remains were handed over to his family this morning by Mansa Civil hospital, news agency ANI reported.
