Sidhu Moose Wala Murder: 19 Bullet Wounds Found On Singer's Body, Reveals Post-Mortem Report

Sidhu Moose Wala Murder: According to the postmortem report, 14 to 15 bullets were fired into Sidhu Moose Wala's body.

Mansa: The post-mortem report of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala has revealed 19 bullet wounds on his body and he would have died within 15 minutes. Moose Wala's postmortem was done by a panel of five doctors. Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29, a day after the state government curtailed his security cover.

While 14-15 bullets hit the front part of his body, three or four bullets hit the elbow of the right hand. Injuries in internal organs have also been confirmed. Moose Wala's viscera samples have been sent for further investigation.

The autopsy report said the cause of death was "hemorrhagic shock which is due to ante mortem fire arm injuries described and sufficient to cause death in ordinary course of nature". According to the report, Moosewala's body bore maximum bullet injury marks on his right side.

The report said the singer died "within 15 minutes" of receiving the injury. Moose Wala's t-shirt and pyjama was soaked in blood and had multiple holes corresponding to the injuries, the report said.

The assailants had fired on the 28-year-old in Jawahar Ke village after waylaying his vehicle. The Punjab police had termed the incident a case of an inter-gang rivalry. Canada-based Goldy Brar, who is the member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, had claimed the responsibility of the murder.

The family of the deceased was adamant on not conducting the post-mortem. The family demanded that the investigation of the murder should be monitored by a High Court judge.

The family members raised the question that why the list of removal of security was made public when there was an apprehension of danger. However, after persuasion and assurance, the family agreed to the post-mortem of the deceased.
