J&K: Body of abducted Policeman Javed Ahmad Dar found at Kulgam's Pariwan

New Delhi: A policeman who was kidnapped by suspected militants on Thursday night was found dead in Kulgam's Pariwan area. Constable Javaid Ahmad Dar was kidnapped from his house in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Thursday night. A police official was quoted as saying, constable Javaid Ahmad was kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his house at Vehil yesterday. The security forces were alerted and operations were launched to track down the kidnappers for rescuing the cop. Watch Video- On Friday, the constable's body was found by locals in Kulgam's Pariwan. Last month, a Special Police Officer (SPO) went missing in Pampore district of Jammu and Kashmir. The officer reportedly left Pampore police station with an AK-47 rifle along with him. The Kashmir valley witnessed horrors last month with the shooting of senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari and murder of Rifleman Aurangzeb, who was abducted by terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.
