NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident, a woman passenger on a New York-Delhi flight allegedly created a scene after the crew on board refused to serve her more wine. In a video that is circulating on social media, the woman who had consumed excessive alcohol is seen shouting and abusing the crew. The incident took place on November 10 when the Air India flight AI-131 was on way to London from Mumbai. In the video, which was apparently taken by a crew member, the woman claims that she is an international lawyer and is a social worker who works for the Rohingya Muslims.  It is said that the woman was reportedly arrested when the Air India flight landed in Heathrow London.

During the 40 minute drama, the woman passenger can be heard saying: "I'm working for all your people. The f*****g Rohingyas, the f*****g people of all Asia, for you, an international criminal lawyer. Don't get any money for it, by the way. But you can't give me a f*****g glass of wine, is that correct?"

The cabin crew had then informed the flight commander about the unruly behaviour of the passenger on board and he instructed the crew not to serve her more drinks. In order to get more drinks, the woman hit at the crew and even spit at them

It is to be noted that the civil aviation ministry guidelines issued in September 2017 provide for barring a passenger indulging in unruly behaviour from flying for a period ranging from three months to lifetime.
