Uttarakhand: In a shocking incident, a biker attempting to cross a seasonal drain got washed away with a huge flow of water. Luckily, the incident was witnessed by passerbys who came forward to help the man and saved him and his bike.  

Heavy water flow can be witnessed in various parts of the mountains; especially between Ramnagar and Paudi. Here, every second day such incidents claim lives of people riding various vehicles.

In spite of repeated warning by authorities, the biker chose to cross the seasonal drain and therefore drowned.



The incident took place at a little distance from Mohaan district, at Panali Basti Naala. The biker was driving towards the mountain from Ramnagar, lost his control over his bike on reaching Panali Basti. The water over the drain was flowing at a very high speed; and in spite of this the biker did not refrain from crossing it.

As soon as the bike came in contact with the heavy flow of water, it got drowned, and the biker along with bike, fell down the flow.

Thankfully, he was saved on time by the locals; and only suffered minor injuries as his helmet fell off his head due to heavy flow of water.
