Statements and controversies related to Pakistan have always been under Shiv Sena's radar
Earlier, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut kicked up a row with the Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra after she referred to Mumbai as Pakistan and PoK. In wake of the controversy, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of Ranaut's office in Mumbai claiming it was part of illegal construction. The outraged actress posted images of the demolished office with the caption, "Pakistan" after which Kangana and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray have been at loggerheads.
Also, it is pertinent to note that this comes on the day when four terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Jammu Kashmir's Nagrota and according to the J&K DGP, the four terrorists killed were Pakistanis who were going to carry out a major terrorist incident in Jammu and Kashmir.
A few days earlier Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling in various sectors of Jammu and Kashmir after it crossed the ceasefire at LAC. Pakistan indulged in heavy cross-border shelling along LOC in which 5 security personnel and 6 civilians lost their lives.
