Two top female wrestlers have been asked by the Delhi Police to provide photos, audio and video as evidence for their allegations of sexual harassment against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The police have asked the athletes to submit the evidence supporting their allegations against Singh of touching their breasts and sliding his hand to the stomach — on the pretext of checking their breathing. This also included the photo of a “hug” that Singh is accused of by one of the complainants.
As per a report by the Indian Express, one of the complainants stated in her FIR that Singh hugged her tightly for 10 to 15 seconds after she won a major medal overseas. The wrestler claimed that she had to keep her hand near her breast to avoid being groped. The police is said to have asked this wrestler for a photograph of the event when the hug happened, as per the report.

The police has asked complainants to provide the date and time of the alleged incidents, the time they spent at the WFI office and names of their roommates and other potential witnesses especially when they were overseas.
One of the wrestlers has also been asked to furnish details of the hotel where she stayed when she visited the WFI office.
As per the report, the police have asked one wrestler and her relative to provide details of threatening calls that were received after filing the FIR. The relative was issued a separate notice asking for video/photograph/call recording/WhatsApp chats related to threatening calls.
