New Delhi: A meeting of opposition leaders will take place in Delhi at the home of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar tomorrow at 6 p.m, reported news agency ANI. The opposition parties' Floor Leaders in the Rajya Sabha have been invited to the meeting at the NCP leader's home.

"In the All Party Meeting convened by the EC to discuss voting through Rural EVM, some of the political parties raised the very issue of voting through EVM," the NCP leader Sharad Pawar wrote to the leaders of the opposition.

Pawar has invited the floor leaders of the opposition parties in the Rajya Sabha to a meeting on Thursday to talk about the Rural Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).

The NCP chief stated in a letter to all opposition leaders that he intends to convene a meeting of all political parties that question the effectiveness of the Rural Electronic Voting Machine (EVM).

This development comes after the Chief Election Commissioner said he would answer questions from political parties and activists from civil society.

Pawar stated that the meeting was called to hear from prominent cryptographers and IT professionals and to promote free and fair elections.

The CCE Report contains a number of very important questions. The report contains perspectives on famous Data Innovation teachers, cryptographers and resigned government authorities.

The civil society presented a letter to ECI in May 2022 and one more update following two weeks (Annexure 3) but the letter was not acknowledged by ECI.
