The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday took a dig at Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal saying he is next after AAP MP Sanjay Singh was arrested for alleged money laundering in liquor policy case earlier in the day. "Today, one thing is clear that the truth cannot be hidden...After Sanjay Singh, it's Arvind Kejriwal," said Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva. Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday evening after a raid at his house and a round of questioning.

He is the third senior leader of the party to be arrested after former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari also targted Kejriwal accusing him of being the "kingpin" and that the "flames will reach him."

"The way they used to write letters made it seem that there was nobody as honest as them. Today, their co-accused have turned approvers...Sanjay Singh's arrest in this liquor scam shows that the flame will not remain only on Sanjay Singh or Manish Sisodia or Satyendar Jain," said Tiwari.

"Arvind Kejriwal seems to be their kingpin and the flames will reach him..."

"The arrest of Sanjay Singh is a sign that the probe into Delhi excise policy case is inching towards (Delhi CM) Arvind Kejriwal and it won't be easy for him to save himself from the corruption allegations," he added.

'BJP Doing It Out Of Fear Of Losing Polls'

AAP MP Raghav Chadha said that the action was being taken against his party leaders because the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party fears it will lose upcoming polls.

"Almost since the last fifteen months, BJP has been accusing us (AAP workers) of a Liquor scam case. In the last 15 months, it has made ED and CBI conduct raids at 1,000 places...After arresting some people under the pretext of investigation and raiding 1000 places, no agency has found a single penny," he said.

"It is a frustrated BJP which is going to lose upcoming elections so they are doing it out of fear due to which today our party's member Sanjay Singh's home has been raided by ED," said Chadha.

'Those Who Will Speak Up Will Go Behind Bars'

Congress leader Meem Afzal targeted BJP over Singh's arrest saying, "This is in accordance with the tendency of this Govt. Those who speak up and question will go behind bars...I don't find Sanjay Singh's arrest surprising." "The way he speaks inside and outside the Parliament, gives interviews and openly challenges the PM and other leaders - it was certain that he had to go to jail. BJP is following this ritual these days," he added.
