Lakhimpur Kheri Case: The Samyukta Kisan Morcha will burn an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Dussehra on October 15 to protest against the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. Yogendra Yadav said Union minister Ajay Mishra should be removed from office and arrested as he hatched the conspiracy. Farmer leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan said that we demand that Union Minister Ajay Mishra and his son Ashish be arrested. The government has taken a violent stand against the protesting farmers. We will not go on the path of violence. Farmer leader Darshan Pal alleged that Lakhimpur kheri incident is part of a conspiracy hatched earlier. They (attackers) tried to terrorize the farmers.

On the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rakesh Tikait also said that the effigy will be burnt on October 15. Farmer leader Hannan Mollah said the agitation has been going on for 10 months and 300 people were martyred. In this situation, the movement that is going on, some said is limited only in Punjab.
