Threats to actor Salman Khan refuse to show any sign of abating. He has once again received a threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The threat message for Salman Khan was delivered to the Mumbai Traffic Police Control Room around midnight on Thursday. The threat was over a song written about Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi.


The message read, "Within a month, the lyricist will be killed. The lyricist's condition will become such that he will not be able to write a song even about himself. If Salman Khan has the courage, he should save the lyricist." Mumbai Police is investigating this case.

Earlier, a man from Rajasthan was arrested here on Wednesday and handed over to Maharashtra Police for allegedly threatening to kill Salman Khan. Officials said the accused was identified as Bhikha Ram (32), also known as Vikram, and hails from Jalore in Rajasthan.


Haveri Superintendent of Police Anshu Kumar said, "Based on information received from Maharashtra ATS (Anti-Terrorist Squad), a person was arrested in Haveri town and handed over to them today." Police sources said the accused had been moving to various places in Karnataka before arriving in Haveri about one and a half months ago.


He said he worked at construction sites and lived in a rented room in Goudar Oni. A police source said, "The accused was watching a regional news channel when he suddenly called the Mumbai Police control room and threatened to kill Salman Khan. He is a daily wage labourer and claims to be a fan of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This is his statement, but he will be questioned and the case will be investigated in detail by the Mumbai Police. Our team handed him over to the Mumbai Police."


He said he sought Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan to build a temple for the Bishnoi community as he idolised Lawrence Bishnoi.
