New Delhi: Amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, Air India has suspended its flights from Delhi to Moscow.
Air India has also cancelled its scheduled flights to Moscow.
The move comes as the international insurance companies have refused to give insurance on aircraft during flight due to the activities happening in and around Russian skies.

Till now, Air India had two flights going from Delhi to Moscow in a week.
Air India has in tune with the same informed the Russian Embassy that it would give refund to all the passengers.
Air India has, however, so far not given any clear answer when asked on this decision.
In the current situation, the transit routes can be used to go to Moscow. The passengers will have to travel between Moscow and Delhi via Tashkent, Istanbul, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and other countries.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Russian Embassy said Air India has stopped selling tickets on the Delhi-Moscow-Delhi route, adding the prospects of flights of this airline to Russia are unclear at the moment.
“Dear fellow citizens. We draw your attention that the Indian airline Air India has stopped selling tickets on the Delhi-Moscow-Delhi route, the prospects for resuming flights of this airline to Russia are uncertain at the moment. According to Air India office, passengers are entitled to the full refund for the canceled flights,” the embassy said in a statement in its Telegram channel, Russian news agency Tass reported.
