New Delhi: Presenting a sorry picture of infrastructural development in Uttar Pradesh, a brand new car got stuck in a huge trough created in the service lane road of the two-year-old Agra-Lucknow Expressway after a portion of caved in.


 



A portion of road on the service lane of Agra Lucknow Expressway caved in on Wednesday creating a 50 foot deep trough.

A car that was carrying four people fell in the hollow and got stuck inside along with the people.

The people have however been rescued but the car got badly damaged. The car was bought from Mumbai and was being taken to Kannauj.

The 302-km-long expressway between Agra and Lucknow was inaugurated in the year 2016 after 22 months of project. In a span of two years the road deteriorated to dismal condition.
