Republic Day 2022: NCC Works Towards Developing Leadership Skills In Cadets, Says Rajnath Singh
The Defence Minister said about the NCC that it works to develop the qualities of leadership and struggle in you so that you can achieve even bigger goals in life on the basis of hard work.
Republic Day 2022: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today virtually addressed the cadets of National Cadet Corps who would participate in the Republic Day parade. Singh, who tested positive for Covid-19 recently expressed his desire to meet the cadets in person and wished them all the best. "It was my wish to meet our NCC cadets directly and have a conversation with them, but right now I am covid positive and due to isolation and other protocols, I am not allowed to travel anywhere," he said.
He praised the NCC and said that it has instilled a lot of good qualities in its cadtes which will prove helpful in making them good individuals. He said it is commonly believed that civilizations, cultures, and governance move forward on the basis of ideas. "I am proud to say that the cultural and political concept that exists in our country was reinforced by a young Sanyasi Shankaracharya a thousand years ago," Singh said.
NCC develops leadership and struggle qualities.
The Defence Minister said about the National Cadet Corps that it works towards developing the qualities of leadership and struggle in the cadets. He said, "you can achieve even the biggest goal in life on the basis of your hard work and dedication."
"You can have new and big dreams and work on them wholeheartedly. You just need to break the bondage of your thoughts and move forward," he added. During this, the Defence Minister mentioned examples of some young entrepreneurs in the country and said that just as they recognized their goal, "you can also recognize your goal and move forward and become a partner in the development of your country."
