New Delhi: Former athlete and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) chief PT Usha on Saturday said the report on the wrestling row is yet to be finalized and since it’s a sensitive issue, it has to be done in a proper way, news agency PTI reported.

Speaking about the allegations of sexual harassment against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the ace sprinter said the IOA has constituted a team, headed by boxer Mary Kom, to probe the charges and the report hasn’t been finalized yet.

Earlier on Friday, wrestler Vinesh Phogat thanked the people and sportspersons for showing their support and said if everyone is levelling the same allegations then it cannot be a lie.

“If everybody is speaking the same thing then it can't be a lie. Nobody can prove it if anybody can prove it then do it in front of us. We don't have to prove that we are telling the truth. If you haven't done anything wrong then prove it. We are waiting for you,” news agency ANI quoted Vinesh Phogat as saying.

She added that when sportspersons come together and share their feelings and thoughts they get courage. Phogat said, "Even I get it when I meet everyone. Everybody is giving us best wishes and they are with us which gives us power as an athlete this gives us the motivation that athletes are with us. We get strength in our fight of truth or lie that we will definitely win."

Meanwhile, Brij Bhushan, who appeared before the probing committee last month, denied all allegations of sexual misconduct levelled against him.

"Brij Bhushan appeared before the committee today. He straightaway denied all the allegations. He said he never did anything wrong," a sports ministry source told PTI.
