After Supreme Court granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Friday called the decision a "relief against dictatorial regime in the country." Earlier today, Kejriwal was granted the interim bail by the apex court in the money laundering case till June 1 for Lok Sabha election campaignning. The court has asked AAP's chief to surrender on June 2. 


Taking to X, Thackeray stated: "A huge sign of winds of change. He has been speaking the truth and that is what the bjp dislikes. More power to him and the INDIA alliance for Bharat. We will protect our Constitution and democracy!"

Taking to X, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stated: "I am very happy to see that Shri Arvind Kejriwal has got interim bail. It will be very helpful in the context of the current elections."






On interim bail to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Congress leader Pawan Khera said: "We welcome the intervention by the Supreme Court in granting interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal...We hope that the former chief minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren also gets due justice."






Referring to court's order as "nightmare" for BJP, TMC MP Saket Gokhale stated: "More power to Arvind Kejriwal ji & to the Hon’ble SC. This is a nightmare that has suddenly become real for the BJP. Modi, who is already rattled to the core, might go completely insane now. Such wonderful news!"
