People and several organisations rushed to the scene of a tragic train accident in Odisha's Balasore, which claimed at least 275 lives and injured over a thousand, to assist rescue officials in saving as many lives as possible. Among these organisations is the Reliance Foundation, which is actively assisting. The foundation's on-site teams are working hard to assist with rescue and relief efforts by establishing a community kitchen to provide nutritious meals to search and rescue personnel. They are also supplying vital supplies and assisting in various ways at the accident site in Bahanaga village, Balasore.
The organisation shared photographs of the same on Instagram, the caption of the post read: "As we stand in solidarity with those affected by the tragic train accident in Odisha, our teams on ground are supporting the rescue and relief operations."
"In these times of distress, rescue workers toil tirelessly to ensure maximum valuable lives are saved. In a bid to back them up, we are serving meals to the search and rescue operation officials through a community kitchen and essentials along with other support at the accident site in Balasore's Bahanaga village. We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured," it added.

The Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express, the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast, and a goods train were all involved in the Friday crash.
The Coromandel Express collided with a stationary goods train at 7 pm on June 2, derailing most of its coaches. Several Coromandel coaches collided with the last few coaches of the Bengaluru-Howrah Express, which was also passing through.
Human error, signal failure, and other potential causes of the three-train collision are being investigated.
According to Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday (June 4), both tracks have been restored. The train movement returned to normal after 51 hours. The train will begin moving immediately.
