NEW DELHI: After launching Patanjali-BSNL Samriddhi SIM cards, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Wednesday launched a new messaging application to take on WhatsApp under his flagship brand Patanjali.


Named as Kimbho, the real-time messaging app will have the tagline of “Ab Bharat Bolega”.

"Now Bharat will speak. After launching sim cards, Baba Ramdev has launched a new messaging application called Kimbho," Patanjali’s spokesperson SK Tijarawala tweeted.

"Now Whats App will get a competition. Our own #SwadeshiMessagingplatform. Download it directly from Google Play Store.” he added.


"Kimbho empowers Private and Group chat with Free Phone and Video Calling. It has dozens of amazing features to share Text, Audio, Photos, Videos, Stickers, Quickies, Location, GIF, Doodle and more," the description given in by the Patanjali Communication at Google Playstore reads.



Earlier on May 27, Ramdev launched Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards, in alliance with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

Initially, only the employees and office bearers of Patanjali will be able to avail the benefits of the SIM card.

After its full-fledged launch, people will get discount of 10% on Patanjali products with this card.
