New Delhi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Monday suggested that people, who give birth to more than 2 children, should be deprived of government facilities and should be socially condemned as well. As per Ramdev, having more than two kids is troublesome to not only family, but also to the society and the country.

Speaking on the same, the Yoga guru said “People who create trouble and discomfort for the society should be kept from government facilities and should be condemned”.

He further said “On the other hand, people who don’t have any kids should be praised. He also cited his own example on the same.”

Ramdev made his statement during his visit to Prayagraj Kumbh, where he questioned the cast-based arrangements at program organized by Divya Prem Seva Mission; and lashed out at people over the same. He also urged the saints to take an action on the same.

Ramdev said “along with common people, the saints have also started preaching casteism and the saints should not only stay away from it, but should also condemn the practice.”

Messengers of cleanliness at Kumbh:

Going beyond the call of duty seems to be the mantra for 'Swachhta Doots' (messengers of cleanliness) who work late into the night to ensure 'Bhavya Kumbh, Divya Kumbh' (Grand Kumbh, Divine Kumbh) is reflected both in letter and spirit.

"For the last one month or so, I along with 11 others am engaged in keeping the premises of Kumbh Mela clean. We ensure cleanliness in and around few eateries set up in Arail area of the city. Our main job is to ensure that there is no littering in the Mela area," Ravi Kumar, a Swachhta Doot, said.
