Navaratna Prajapati, a Guiness World Record holder sculptor from Jaipur, carved out an intricate 1.3-cm statue of Shri Ram on the tip of a pencil. He completed his project in five days and claims it to be the smallest statue of Shri Ram in the world. Navaratna wishes to gift this statue to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and will try to get it placed in the Shri Ram Museum.
He said,"It took me 5 days to complete it. And it is just 1.3 cm in height... This is the smallest statue in the world. I will gift this to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and try to get it a place in the Shri Ram museum."
Navratna belongs to Maheshnagar, Jaipur, and is known for holding many records for his work. He previously made a wooden spoon of 2 millimeters with a handle as thick as hair. The spoon's cup was just 0.75 millimeters and it took him a day's time to complete it. He had shared his video of this spoon, after which it was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records and shared on social media by the latter.
K Vijay Kumar Reddy, a chalk artist from Berhampur Odisha, carved out a 3-c.m. tall miniature statue that resembled Shri Ram's idol. He also carved a 2.5 cm tall idol of PM Modi for highlighting the Swachh Abhiyan again.
He said,"... it took me one day to carve out the idol of Shri Ram. PM Modi kickstarted a cleanliness drive throughout the country, and more recently in temples, thus, PM Modi being the first servant of the country, I have shown him cleaning..."
A 108-foot-long incense stick, a laddu weighing 1265-kilogram, 10-foot-high lock and key, a 2400 kg bell, and 5 lakh laddus are some of the other unique gifts that have been received by the temple ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony on January 22.
