Rahul Gandhi in London: Congress president Rahul Gandhi attacked BJP on Friday and said that the ruling party won't be able to win more than 5 seats in the upcoming 2019 elections if there is an alliance in states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He said an alliance of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in UP and a similar alliance in Bihar will cost the BJP 120 seats.

Rahul Gandhi compares RSS with Muslim Brotherhood

Rahul Gandhi also compared RSS with Muslim Brotherhood and attacked Modi in London address. "RSS is trying to change the nature of India. Other parties haven't tried to capture India's institutions. RSS's idea is similar to the idea of Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab world," said Rahul.

Rahul Gandhi on PM Modi's strategy on businesses in India 

He further took a dig at BJP and said in the business class in India had expected a lot from PM Narendra Modi, but they were left disappointed. He also said that there is an immense amount of pressure from CBI, ED on businesses running in the country. "Businesses had expected a lot from PM Modi. But they are disappointed and are willing to support us. But today, there is an immense amount of pressure from CBI, ED on India's businesses," the Congress president said.


Rahul Gandhi on losing  2014 Lok Sabha

While speaking on losing 2014 Lok Sabha polls he said that there was a certain degree of arrogance at a party level that had crept into the party after being in ten years in power. He said the lesson his party has learned from the defeat was that leadership is about listening and empathy.


Rahul Gandhi on talks with Pakistan

Congress President Rahul Gandhi while speaking at the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London also kept his point of view in regards to the talks with Pakistan. He said that when it comes to Pakistan there is no deeply thought out strategy by PM Modi.


"On Modi government, I would like to say that even with Pakistan, they lack a coherent strategy," Gandhi said. He further said that Pakistan is spreading terrorism in our country.
