New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has once again hit out at the Narendra Modi government at the Centre over the repealed farm laws.

Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have apologized for bringing in anti-agricultural laws but he should explain in the Parliament as to how he would atone.

Taking a dig at Modi, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "While PM apologized for enacting an anti-agri-law, he needs to tell Parliament how will he atone for it? When will the Minister be suspended in Lakhimpur case? How much and when will the compensation be given to the martyred farmers? When would false cases against 'Satyagrahis' (protestors) be withdrawn? When will a law on MSP be enacted? Without all this, asking for forgiveness is incomplete!"

Opposition Demands Compensation For Farmers

The opposition has been constantly demanding compensation from the government to the families of farmers killed during the agitation against the agricultural laws. However, two days back, the Central Government said in the Parliament since there was no data on the number of farmers who died during the stir, there was no question of compensation.
