New Delhi: Reiterating his allegations on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over alleged Rafale scam, Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed a press conference on Thursday morning and claimed that the files related to Rafale have disappeared.

“Rafale files disappeared, it was said that an investigation should be conducted against you (media) because Rafale files disappeared; but no investigation is happening against the person involved in Rs 30,000 crore scam”.

Further claiming that PM Modi carried out parallel negotiations with France to benefit his friend Anil Ambani, Gandhi said “Yes of course take action on those involved in this missing documents case but also initiate an inquiry on PMO making parallel negotiation”.

“On one hand you are saying the documents are missing, so this means the documents are genuine and it’s clearly written in them that PMO was carrying out parallel negotiations” he added.

Gandhi further commented on recent speculations regarding Congress’ alliance with Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections saying “Overall our alliances are on track, in Delhi the party unit unanimously said no to an alliance”.

Earlier Congress’ Delhi Chief Sheila Dikshit  had denied forming any alliance with AAP for the elections in Delhi.
