Chandigarh: Punjab Bhartiya Janta party Chief Vijay Sampla on Tuesday zeroed the information about his resignation from  from the post, the news which came after he seemed unhappy with the ticket distribution in Punjab for the forthcoming assembly elections.  After the news about Sampan’s resignation floated, he visited Thawar Chand Gehlot’s residence who is currently serving as a Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment.

According to the sources, Sampan offered to resign from the position of both State Party Chief and Central Minister. After the resignation, BJP was trying its best to convince Sampan, but he made it clear that since he wasn’t consulted before decisions on ticket distribution took place, then there is no point of him staying in the party. Also, he had already expressed his resentment to Party’s national chief Amit Shah, the charge Sampna has clearly denied.

BJP last year replaced its State heads, including Sampla. Sampla  is a MP and Minister from Hoshiarpur. Sampla replaced Kamal Sharma as a State Party Chief.
