New Delhi: Fire broke out in an air filter firm near Bhima Koregaon area of Shirur town in Pune on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.






According to the report two workers have sustained injuries. Six fire tenders have reached the spot.


Earlier in the day, fire broke out near Parekh Hospital in Mumbai's Ghatkopar.

According to Mumbai Fire Service, 22 people have been admitted to Parakh Hospital after the fire broke out in Juno's Pizza restaurant located in the nearby Vishwas building.


The flames erupted in the electricity meter room of the ground-plus-six-story 'Vishwas' building, located in the Ghatkopar east area around 2 pm, news agency PTI reported an official as saying.


As per the report, the fire which started in a flat on the 22nd floor of `One Avighna Park' building in the Curry Road area around 10.45 am was doused after three hours, by 1.50 pm.


So far, no casualties have been reported in the incident. 


Meanwhile, a fire broke out at the Pheonix Hospital in South Delhi's Greater Kailash Part 1 on Saturday morning.


No injuries have been reported, ANI reported.


The fire was reported in the basement of the hospital. A fire call was received at 0908 this morning. A total of five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire is brought under control, fire department officials said.


The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet.
