Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the newly inaugurated Surat Diamond Bourse is an example of 'Modi ki Guarantee'. He said that this bourse is a symbol of new India and the country's determination. Referring to the bourse, he said another diamond has been added to the grandeur of Surat city.


He said the Surat was once called the 'Sun city', from there it went to be known as 'Diamond city' and today it has become 'dream city' for citizens of the country. 






"Today Surat is among the top 10 developing cities of the world. Surat's street food, skill development work, everything is amazing... Surat was once known as 'Sun City'. But today the people here, with their hard work have made it 'diamond city'..." the PM said.






Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Today the people of Surat and the traders and businessmen here are getting two more gifts. Today itself the new terminal of Surat Airport has been inaugurated and the second big thing that has happened is that now Surat Airport has got the status of International Airport. I congratulate the people of Surat and the people of Gujarat for this wonderful terminal and international airport."


Talking about the newly inaugurated terminal of Surat Airport, the Prime Minister said the airport has also got the status of international airport.






"I have given this guarantee to the nation that India will be among the top three economies in the world in my third term. The government has fixed the target for the coming 25 years..." the PM said.
