Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 74th birthday on Tuesday (September 17), with President Droupadi Murmu along with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) extending wishes and praising his leadership.
Extending her wishes, President Murmu appreciated PM Modi for providing "extraordinary leadership" and increasing "the prosperity and prestige of the country".
"I wish that your innovative efforts with the spirit of nation first pave the way to make India a developed nation. I pray to God that you live long and always remain healthy and happy," the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a post on X.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished the Prime Minister on his birthday and hailed him for "bringing positive changes in the lives of the countrymen through his tireless hard work, perseverance and foresight". "I pray to God for your healthy and long life," Shah said in a post on X.
In his greetings, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh noted that Many "not only India but the whole world has seen and experienced his visionary and strong leadership." "Modiji has led the country with full readiness, concentration and asceticism and is still doing so," he wrote on X.
"From the welfare of the poor to the welfare of every person in the society, Modiji has cared about it and has worked for it with full dedication. Today, under the leadership of Modiji, India is making its mark as a capable and strong nation to achieve the huge goal of becoming a developed India," he added.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha also wished the Prime Minister and posted on X, ”Warm birthday wishes to the visionary leader and great son of Maa Bharati, to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. He also hailed Modi’s commitment to India’s prosperity and added, “Your vision for a stronger, prosperous India resonates in every heart. May your dynamic guidance and unwavering dedication carry on to transform India and inspire generations!”
Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav posted a video of PM Modi with global leaders on X and extended birthday wishes to the Prime Minister.
