New Delhi: In the wake of sudden increase of daily Coronavirus cases in various states of the country including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and others, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair yet another meeting with Chief Ministers of various states and UTs on March 17 (Wednesday).

As per reports, PM Modi will hold the meeting with CMs at 11 am via video conferencing where he will also discuss about India's Covid-19 vaccination drive.

The meeting of Prime Minister with Chief Ministers comes after various states started witnessing sudden rise in daily number of Coronavirus cases with Maharashtra and other states imposing lockdowns and night curfew in various districts.

This is not for the first time that Prime Minister has called for such a meeting. Even earlier, PM has held several round of meeting with CMs of all states and UTs of the country.

Last such meeting was held in the month on January before rollout of Coronavirus vaccine in the country.
