Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aunt, Narmadaben Modi passed away due to Covid-19 after ten days of being admitted at a civil hospital in Ahmedabad. PM Modi’s younger brother, Prahlad Modi told tis to PTI.
“Our aunt Narmadaben was admitted to the civil hospital some ten days ago after her condition deteriorated following coronavirus infection," said Prahlad Modi.
"She breathed her last at the hospital today," he told PTI.
Many political figures shared their condolence messages after the demise of PM’s aunt. Jyotiraditya Scindia expressed his condolence and said that he is praying for soul of PM’s aunt.

Prahlad Modi, the brother of PM Modi also said that Narmadaben’s husband, Jagjivandas Modi, the brother of PM’s father, Damodardas had passed away many years ago.
