Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, September 3, renewed his membership in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Asserting that the BJP is a worker-centric party, PM Modi urged all karyakartas to renew their memberships.


He also asked citizens to join the BJP's 'Sadasyata 2024 Movement' (membership 2024 campaign). "You can give a missed call on 8800002024 or even join via the NaMo App. Together, let’s build a Viksit Bharat," he said in an X post.


He also posted a picture of his digital membership card, which had a QR code, directing internet users to the BJP's website.






Along with PM Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and vice-president of the Delhi unit of the BJP renewed their party memberships. They, too, posted images of their digital membership cards and posted their "referral links" for others to join the BJP.






Former Governor Of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan, Patna Sahib Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, Former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, national vice-president of BJP Baijayant Panda, Former Hooghly MP Locket Chatterjee, Union minister Bhupender Yadav, former Union minister Suresh Prabhu, and Union minister Piyush Goyal were among those who renewed their memberships during the ongoing membership campaign.


Piyush Goyal said: "Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modiji, India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047 will be both exciting and rewarding. Now, is the perfect time to join this transformative movement and help shape our country’s future."
