New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a bilateral meeting with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Both the leaders discussed a wide array of topics, ranging from trade and investment to technology, and education. 


Ministry of External Affairs posted on X, “Strengthening India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership! PM @narendramodi met VP & PM of UAE @HHShkMohd in Dubai. Discussions covered a wide range of areas of bilateral cooperation including trade & investment, technology, education, and people-to-people ties".






"It is always a delight to meet to meet @HHShkMohd. His vision for Dubai’s growth is clearly visible to the entire world. Our discussions covered a wide range of subjects ranging from commerce to connectivity, and ways to boost people to people linkages," the Prime Minister stated about the talks.






PM Modi on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit also held a dialogue with Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina. PM Modi asserted India’s commitment to boost India-Madagascar partnership” coupled with India's commitment to Vision SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region).


MEA stated, "Both leaders recognized the long-standing friendly relations and ancient geographical ties between the two countries. They discussed ways to advance bilateral ties and appreciated the close cooperation between the two countries in various multilateral fora, including the UN".










PM Modi Signs Several Pacts During UAE Visit


Modi signed several bilateral agreements, showcasing the commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation across various sectors. The high-energy 'Ahlan Modi' event, attended by a large gathering of the Indian diaspora, underscored the strong cultural and people-to-people ties between India and the UAE, reported PTI.


PM Modi will inaugurate the largest Hindu stone temple in Abu Dabhi. After his engagements in the UAE, Modi is scheduled to visit Doha, Qatar, where he will meet with the leadership to further strengthen ties between the two countries, as per PTI.
