Uttarakhand: Preparations have been completed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Kedarnath Dham on November 5. The entire temple is heavily decked up ahead of his visit. On reaching Kedarnath Dham, the Prime Minister will unveil the statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, which was damaged in the 2013 deluge. Meanwhile, devotees are still visiting Baba Kedar in the midst of a severe cold. 


Security Tightens:
Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also reached Kedarnath today to review the preparations before PM Modi's visit. He has also given necessary guidelines to the authorities.

Event to be live-streamed at 11 Jyotirlingas  
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Kedarnath on November 5 and unveil the statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. In addition, when PM Modi will unveil the Shankaracharya’s statue, it will be live-streamed to the 11 Jyotirlingas across the country.


PM to lay foundation stone for reconstruction works
The 11 Jyotirlingas where the event will be live-streamed include, Somnath, Omkareshwar, Mallikarjuna, Bhimashankar, Vishwanath, Mahakaleshwar and others Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure projects in Kedarnath like the construction of bridges, Asthapath, and Ghats among others.
