Prime Minister Narendra Modi while interacting with Karnataka BJP workers, on Thursday, said that Congress meant “false guarantee” and the “guarantee of corruption”. He said that Congress is in that state where they cannot keep their promises and that their “warranty has also expired”. Modi said that Congress hasn’t taken an interest in eradicating corruption because the party itself has been the biggest source of corruption. After 2014, the whole country is watching how quickly the fight against corruption has taken place, he said.

“Congress has not taken any interest in eradicating corruption because it itself has been the biggest source of corruption. After the year 2014, the whole country is watching how fast the fight against corruption has taken place. The trident of Jan-Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile has given a big blow to corruption”, PM Modi said.

He said that the biggest difference between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other parties is the approach, while the agenda of other parties is to grab power. BJP’s agenda is to see the country develop within 25 years.

“Our agenda in the coming 25 years is to develop the country, free it from poverty and harness the potential of the youth at the forefront”, Modi was quoted as saying by ANI. He said that if people want to see the country develop, they have to get rid of “revdi culture” (or offering of freebies).

The PM said he will visit poll-bound Karnataka in a few days to receive the blessings of the people of the state,

He also said that BJP leaders who have campaigned in the state have received a lot of affection from the people which showcases Kannada people’s trust in the party.

“BJP leaders who have campaigned in the state have said that they received a lot of affection from the people there. This shows people's confidence in BJP,” PM Modi said.
