Uttarakhand: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a day long Uttarakhand visit; inaugurated Patanjali Research Institute at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar on Wednesday.

Patanjali Research Centre:

As per reports, an amount of Rs 2000 crore was spent on building the Patanjali Research Centre.

The research centre would do a research on forest products and produce herbal products from the same. The research centre got prepared in a span of two years.



Ramdev lauds PM Modi:

Ramdev honoured Prime Minister Modi by calling him ‘Rashtra Rishi’.

Ramdev while delivering a speech said, the country is changing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ramdev also said that the country is safe in the hands of PM Modi and he is a blessing for the country.

Ramdev also asserted that neither Baba nor the country shall fall under PM Modi’s rule.

Patanjali leads FMCG sector:

Patanjali is one of the top brands in the country and has expanded its wings in FMCG sector after health care herbal products.

Patanjali’s manufacturing units and headquarters are located in Haridwar and its registered office is located at Delhi.

The company manufactures mineral and herbal products. The brand also has manufacturing units in Nepal under the trademark Nepal Gramudhyog and imports majority of herbs in India from Himalayas of Nepal.

Modi addresses Patanjali research centre:

While addressing the masses, PM Modi said that he has full faith in the blessings of the countrymen. PM Modi was also heard lauding Ramdev for his hard work and dedication which made him succeed in life.

PM also praised the power of research and technology. PM Modi also spoke about the scope of Ayurveda to make its space in the international market.
