Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated a 10-km roadshow in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Tuesday evening as part of his two-day visit to the state. The roadshow, which commenced around 10 pm, saw tight security arrangements, with thousands of people lining up along the route to greet the Prime Minister. The roadshow featured BJP workers and leaders greeting the PM at various locations along the route, including Birsa Chowk, Harmu Chowk, and Ratu Road roundabout. Security measures were heightened due to the PM's visit.
The roadshow prompted traffic restrictions along the route from the airport to Raj Bhavan, taken by the PM, from 8 pm to 10.30 pm, news agency PTI reported. Additionally, a no-fly zone for drones was declared along the entire route and from Governor's House to Birsa Munda Old Jail from 6 pm on Tuesday to 11 pm on Wednesday, as per district administration officials cited by PTI.
