New Delhi: BJP President JP Nadda has said that his party has trained 6.88 lakh volunteers in the country amid the fear of corona's third wave. He told that these volunteers are trained to strengthen various segments of society when the third wave arrives.
JP Nadda said: "In July, we resolved to train 4 lakh volunteers in 2 lakh villages to help the healthcare system if the third wave comes. In 43 days, we trained 6.88 lakh volunteers and hopefully, we will touch the 8 lakh number soon."
BJP's Plan On PM Modi's Birthday
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17, BJP workers will launch a special drive across the country to motivate more and more people to get Covid-19 vaccines so that all old immunization records could break.
Announcing the campaign at his residence, BJP President J P Nadda said that on the Prime Minister's birthday, booth level workers of the party across the country will help people getting vaccinated.
On this occasion, BJP General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that all immunization records will be left behind on the Prime Minister's birthday. Chugh added that 18,000 doctors have joined the BJP's health volunteer campaign to face the future wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said that BJP will conduct a special course for health volunteers in the month of October. BJP celebrates the Prime Minister's birthday as Service Week.
