Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 77th episode of his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat'. This comes on a day when the BJP-led government at the Centre completes seven years in office.


PM Modi expressed grief over the havoc created by Cyclone Tauktae and Cyclone Yaas. PM shared condolences to those who lost life in the destruction. PM also appreciated the forces who worked on war footing to ensure the safety of people and carrying rescue operations on time.


"In these times of disasters, people of Cyclone-affected states showed courage & fought with patience & discipline. I want to humbly acknowledge their efforts those who actively participated in the relief and rescue operations. I salute them all", said PM Modi


"I express my deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. We all stand steadfastly with those who have suffered losses," PM said.


PM Modi also focused on the Covid crisis the country is facing and thanked those who are delivering life-saving oxygen to hospitals and needy patients on time.


PM Modi also hailed the doctors, nurses, and all frontline workers who are helping the government tackle the brutal wave of Coronavirus. Prime Minister also said that govt has commenced the work to build new oxygen plants and soon states will have their own oxygen which will ensure quick delivery of the element in an emergency.


"During 2nd wave of COVID19, a major challenge was to supply medical oxygen to remote areas. To counter challenges that the country faced, drivers of Cryogenic oxygen tankers helped by working on war footing & saved lives of lakhs of people", said PM Modi


PM appreciated the agriculture sector and said that farmers helped in stablising the country's economy. 


PM also spoke on the anniversary of BJP govt and said that the saffron party has been working dedicatedly for the past 7 years just like Team India and will continue to follow the motto of 'sabka sath, sabka vikas'.


PM also said that after 7 years India has given befitting replies to conspiracies from other nations boosting the courage and confidence of the countrymen.


PM Modi also said that in the 7 years of BJP's term northeast has experienced peace in its state which was otherwise facing multiple conflicts.


 


BJP observes 'Seva Diwas' on completion of 7 Yrs of term


With the country grappling with the raging second wave of coronavirus pandemic, the Bharatiya Janata Party has refrained from organising any grand event to mark the Narendra Modi 2.0 government’s second anniversary.


The ruling party has instead decided to organise relief works across the country to celebrate the seventh anniversary of its government at the Centre.


The anniversary is being observed as “Seva Diwas” and BJP workers will dedicate themselves to relief activities and serve the people.
