New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to meet again today in the seaside town of Mahabalipuram near Chennai to continue their talks, which will be followed by delegation-level talks. However, ahead of his meeting with Chinese President today, PM Modi on Saturday morning was seen in a video plogging at a beach in Tamil Nadu’s Mamallapuram. The Prime Minister tweeted a video of his walk at the beach where he picked up plastic waste and other trash lying on the ground. The exercise lasted 30 minutes, he said in his post.

Taking to his Twitter wall, PM Modi wrote, "Plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram this morning. It lasted for over 30 minutes." "Also handed over my ‘collection’ to Jeyaraj, who is a part of the hotel staff. Let us ensure our public places are clean and tidy! Let us also ensure we remain fit and healthy," he added.

PM Modi also shared the pictures of scenic coast where he could be seen walking bare feet on the sandy beach and in the water enjoying the coastal morning. He captioned the pictures as, “Refreshing walk and exercises in Mamallapuram, along the scenic coast.”

PM Modi arrived in Mamallapuram on Friday and held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The talks went for several hours during which both the leaders discussed trade, terror. The two leaders will continue their informal meet on today as well, during the 2nd informal summit between India-China.
