With the release of Pathaan on Wednesday, King Khan of Bollywood is back on the big screen after a wait of 4-long years. Advance booking of Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan surpassed the records of KGF 2 as it stood second in terms of highest advance bookings for an Indian movie.
In the images shared on Twitter, a sea of people could be seen gathered outside movie theatres on Wednesday morning in Mumbai to watch Pathaan's first show.
People even slept outside the theatres on Tuesday night to ensure that they don't miss the first-day first show.
A user named Harminder tweeted a picture of fans sleeping just outside the theatres that would screen Pathaan. Along with the picture he wrote, "The craze of #SRK is beyond any levels fans sleeping near theatres just to get a glimpse of their favourite actor in fdfs through #Pathaan."
Fans on a 'chilly morning' were seen patiently waiting in queues outside the cinema halls at 7 a.m.
A user was so excited about the release of the movie that he compared AIEEE's exam to the excitement about Pathaan's release. He tweeted, "Personal Life me Last Time Aisi Nervousness AIEEE ke Exam ke Time hua tha 🥺 Pathaan Reviews Will Start in 10 Minutes i am literally Shaking 😑."
Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan despite being leaked online on Tuesday is still making records and his fans are showering love upon him. Pathaan also features Salman Khan in a cameo role which has raised the excitement of fans even further as they're eager to see both the Khans working together.
