New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed media ahead of the commencement of the Parliament Winter Session and urged the opposition to maintain peace inside the house as the Centre is expecting healthy debates. PM Modi also said that the government is ready to debate and discuss every issue openly and will respond to all questions raised by the opposition parties. 


PM Modi said, "This is an important session of the Parliament. The citizens of the country want a productive session....We are ready to discuss all issues & answer all questions during this session."

The Prime Minister further said that the citizens of the country want a productive session. They are fulfilling their responsibilities for a brighter future.


Giving a message to the opposition parties, PM Modi also said, "Our Government is ready to answer all questions by opposition during the Winter Session of the Parliament. We should debate in the Parliament, and maintain the decorum of the proceedings."


However, Congress leaders have filed an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha to discuss 'to direct the government to create a record of farmers who lost their lives during farm laws protest and give compensation to their families'.


The opposition parties are expected to raise the issues of MSP guarantee raised by the protesting farmers and will also demand compensation for over 700 farmers who lost their lives while protesting against the three contentious laws.


The government will table the Farm Laws Repeal Bill today and once approved in the house it will be sent to Rajya Sabha for discussion and approval.
