Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Delhi's RML Hospital to meet the BJP MPs, who got injured during the Parliament scuffle today. "Two of our MPs - Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput are admitted to RML Hospital and I came to know about their condition. Pratap Sarangi has two stitches on his head and Mukesh Rajput also has a head injury. Both are stable. Doctors say that they will have to remain hospitalized for 2 or more days. Such incidents should not happen in a democracy," he said.

The BJP held a press conference over the Parliament scuffle during which Union Minister Shivraj Chouhan slammed Rahul Gandhi for his behaviour and alleged that the Congress MP purposely came at the Makar Dwar despite the security personnel asking him to enter from another space.

RML MS Dr Ajay Shukla said: "He (PM called up) and inquired of the condition of both MPs. He spoke with both of them...He tried to make them understand to not worry and that they would be fine...They seem to be better now. Tests are being done..."
On the dramatic Parliament protests which injured two BJP MPs, Nagaland MP S Phangnon Konyak said: "What happened today felt absolutely wrong. I am an ST (Scheduled Tribe), from Nagaland... what happened should not have happened. I have lodged a complaint with the Chairman about this."
Women MPs from Congress party will go to Sansad Marg Police Station at 3 pm today to submit complaint against BJP MPs.

"Amid the BJP’s theatrics and diversion tactics, we witnessed shocking behavior today as BJP MPs came armed with RSS lathis and blocked a peaceful march from Babasaheb’s statue. Senior leaders like Kharge Ji & Women MPs were obstructed. Where is democracy headed?" Tagore said in a post on X.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju vowed action against Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi after he was accused of injuring two BJP MPs during protest. Rijiju alleged that Rahul Gandhi was displaying physical strength.

Both Houses of Parliament were rocked with uproar on Thursday as MPs from opposition parties demanded an apology from Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his remarks against BR Ambedkar.
The INDIA bloc MPs staged a protest outside the Parliament including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge.
The Bhartiya Janata Party also staged a counter-protest demanding Congress to apologise for insulting Ambedkar.
Amid the commotion at the entrance of the Parliament building, BJP MP Pratap Sarangi reportedly sustained injury during the INDIA bloc's protest. Sarangi alleged he was shoved by Rahul Gandhi which resulted in his injury.
However, Rahul Gandhi, sporting a blue t-shirt, said he was stopped by BJP MPs at the Makardwar of Parliament. "BJP MPs were pushing and threatening me. There was a lot of jostling," he said.
The remarks made by Amit Shah have stirred a massive political slugfest. On Tuesday, Shah said in Rajya Sabha that Congress leaders would have got a place in heaven had they chanted the name of God rather than following the "fashion of repeating Ambedkar’s name”.
